Resonator Modeling Design Guide

By GP2 Software Products  Feb 1997

This Design Guide will calculate equivalent lumped element circuits for quarter and half wave resonators. The global constants of Frequency, Impedance and loss are set at the top of the page. Then select one of the resonators you want to model, enter the length for your dielectric medium and CLICK the calculate button. Circuit values will be shown in the text boxes.

The short and open ends are treated as ideal for this design guide. It will give the user an approximate model as a starting point.

NOTE:
This Design Guide is made for JavaScript enabled browsers. Netscape 2.0 (Netscape) and higher and Internet Explorer 3.0 (Microsoft) support it, but you may have to activate the feature if it does not seem to work. Windows 3.1 users need Netscape 3.01 beta. More help for using Java.

Feedback on this Design Guide will be appreciated.
